MONSON CEMETERY COMMISSION

The regular meeting of the Monson Cemetery Commissioners convened at 3:30 p.m. in the office at 32 Wilbraham Road. In attendance were Albert Wilcox, Paul Lovell, William Plante, Sean Connery and Erin McCurry. David Martin was not present.
Mr. Wilcox made a motion to accept the meeting minutes of September 6, 2007. Mr Connery seconded the motion.
There wasn’t any old business to be discussed at this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.
Lot Care Fees- Mr. Lovell discussed the lot care fee of 5 dollars a year to be abated. The minimal accounts that are current only brings in 190 dollars a year. Mr. Connery made a motion to abate these current accounts. Mr. Wilcox seconded the motion.
Letters will be sent out on or before October 1st to inform the individuals of this change.

Repairs of Black top- Mr. Lovell feels that the black top at the Hillcrest Cemetery is a safety hazard. In the winter months it cannot to be plowed because of the condition it is in. Mr. Connery suggested to get a few quotes on the cost to have it repaired. Mr.Lovell will call to have them come out. Mr. Connery made a motion. Mr. Wilcox second the motion.
The Cemetery Department would like to be able to do so before the winter months arrive.
3.
Time Change- The current time of 3:30 p.m. for the monthly meeting was discussed to be changed to 5:00 p.m. This time change will accommodate for all individuals to be in attendance. Mr. Connery made a motion. Mr. Wilcox second the motion. Next minutes will be held October 4th at 5:00 p.m. Nancy Morell will be contacted to post new time of the monthly meting on the board in the town hall.
Mr. Wilcox made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:45 p.m. Mr. Connery seconded the motion.
