The Monson Board of Health has adopted the State Regulations for Outdoor Hydronic Heaters as posted on the following site, as well as the additonal five regulations posted below:
1. New installations in accordance with state regulations will be allowed in the Town of Monson.
2. All new installations will be required to register the unit along with a $50.00 registration fee.
3. A plot plan with the location and setback distances from the OHH to all dwelling units within 200 feet must be submitted for new and existing units.
4. The burning season will be from October 1st through April 30th for all units.
5. OHH can be transferred to a new owner on the existing property, however, a unit not meeting current regulation standards cannot be moved to another address within the town.
