During 2007, the department offered a number of other programs in response to our communities needs. These included such things as 25-30 infant and child seat installations that were performed by trained and certified officers, a VIN etching clinic that was offered in cooperation with the Governor’s Auto Theft Bureau, bicycle safety checks, a bicycle helmet distribution program and a motorcycle awareness program held in cooperation with the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association.
