The Local Casino Study Committee (LCSC) encourages residents to view the work of the regional western MA Casino Task Force (WMCAT) that is posted on the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission website http://www.pvpc.org/casino/index.html.
The Town of Monson initiated the LCSC and the WMCAT in the fall of 2007 in response to Governor Patrick's proposal to license three casinos in Massachusetts.
