The 1st Commitment of 2012 Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Bills are due and payable on Friday, March 2, 2012. Any bill remaining outstanding after the due date will be charged interest at a rate of 12% from the due date as required by Massachusetts General Laws on Taxation.
To file an abatement, contact the Board of Assessor's office at (413)267-4120. For questions on payments, contact the Town Collector office at (413)267-4119. Both offices are located at the old Hillside School Building at 29 Thompson Street, Monson, MA. Public Hours are Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. to Noontime and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
