Revaluation Field Review in Progress
The Town of Monson will be undergoing a full revaluation for FY 2008. The Department of Revenue will require the town to review each improved property to determine the accuracy of the description of the improvements as listed on the property record card.
A representative from the assessing department will drive-by each improved property to visually confirm the descriptive information. If there is missing or erroneous information personnel will re-list and measure.
This review is expected to take place between April and August of 2007. The Assessing department will have signs on the vehicle used as this review takes place.
