The Monson Board of Assessors received approval for the FY 2008 Tax Rate on December 12, 2007. The tax rate will be $11.92 per thousand for all classes of property.
The actual tax bills for the 3rd and 4th quarter of FY 2008 will be mailed at the end of December. The 3rd quarter tax bill is due on February 1, 2008 and the 4th quarter bill is due on May 1, 2008. Any questions regarding your tax payments should be directed to the Town Collector’s office at 267-4119.
Any questions regarding the assessed value of real or personal property should be directed to the Board of Assessors office at 267-4120. Any real or personal tax abatement applications must be filed with the Board of Assessor no later than February 1, 2008.
