Town Treasurer

Mission Statement

The Treasurer's Department is responsible for receiving all monies belonging to the Town, managing that money to insure maximum cash availabiity and maximum yield on short-term investments. The Department pay bills weekly, once approved by the Select Board. The Department is also responsible for bi-weekly payroll and distributing to all town departments. It maintains tax title accounts and prepares various year end reports including W-2's for employees and 1099's for independent contractors.The Treasurer manages the medical insurance for town employees and retirees.The Town Treasurer works under the direction of the Finance Director for the town.
